Success of Moodle System at the University of Belize
Main Article Content
Abstract
Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments. You can download the software onto your own web server or ask one of our knowledgeable Moodle Partners to assist you. Moodle is built by the Moodle project which is led and coordinated by Moodle HQ, which is financially supported by a network of over 80 Moodle Partner service companies worldwide. In Belize we have adjusted it by adding complementary technology assets since we have lower internet speed than most countries and this be the reason that in Belize it is not as successful as it should be. The perceived net benefits of the system was moderately positive to the respondents , meaning there is still some improvements that can be done to the system so as to meet the needs of students.
