Task Technology Fit - Lecturers Perceptions of Learning Management Systems

AbstractLearning Management System (LMS) platforms have shifted the way educators around the world are educating their students, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. Gone are the days of sitting in a classroom and taking notes, to now modern times where a student can simply log in to an LMS program and have all materials available and at their own timing. One factor of task technology fits that it has a significant influence on both the information system and their impact on performances. The research will attempt to address how task-technology fit affects the performance of LMS Microsoft Teams and how its effect on teachers and their student's learning and delivery. The result provides support that most teachers prefer to teach face-to-face learning instead of online learning and that even though it is very user-friendly it also has a weak impact on the outcomes with student’s performances.
