The Evaluation of the NEO Municipalities Information System

Abstract

The NEO Municipalities Information System has become the second municipal Information System introduced to Belize, escalating to a new level of municipal management from August 2017.  This system is an integrated management system that takes into account all the operations of the council including the HR management. The purpose of the research on NEO Municipalities is to evaluate as well measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Information System. As its potential is to allow communication among the different municipalities throughout the country achieving a point in which everything becomes virtual global, where one doesn’t necessarily have to physically be at a particular location to get things done. Providing the government with faster accessibility to everything that is occurring in all the municipals throughout Belize.
