Research Proposal Case Study Of Sexual Assault On Women.

Published 2025-12-10

Abstract

This research proposal focuses on a case study investigating the long-term effects of sexual assault on victims, recognizing the issue as a serious public health concern. The study aims to address the problematic situations victims undergo and to increase understanding of their experiences to promote social change and facilitate recovery. It hypothesizes that sexual assault victims are more likely to experience psychological distress, specifically anxiety, panic attacks, and nightmares, as a result of their traumatic experience. The research will employ a qualitative methodology, utilizing two forms of data collection: a focus group of 10 individuals aged 12-19 and participant observation involving six individuals aged 20-25. Ultimately, the study seeks to reveal the consequences of sexual assault, highlight the need for supportive organizations, and help victims adjust back to society.
